$2.3M

October 2022 - April 2023

The emergency cleanup operation followed a major fire at a rubber manufacturing plant, requiring immediate and coordinated response to contain and remediate environmental impacts. Key activities included the removal and off-site disposal of fire-damaged and PFAS-contaminated materials, including impacted soil and sediment, in compliance with regulatory standards. Emergency environmental protection measures were rapidly implemented to prevent further contamination, including by-pass pumping, dewatering, and the deployment of erosion and sediment controls. The site was secured and monitored with 24/7 surveillance to ensure safety and compliance throughout the response. Following containment and removal efforts, the site underwent full remediation, including grading, paving, and landscape restoration to return the area to a stable and safe condition.
