Landfill Gas System Upgrades Former Kitchener Landfill Site Kitchener, Ontario

- Clearing, grubbing, strip topsoil 30,000 square meters.
- Supply and install 750 meters of gas collection system (300mm gas collection, 100mm forcemain, 75mm compressed air).
- Supply and install 400m of 150mm perforated pipe for perched groundwater collector and additional 150mm perforated pipe for gas collection along sheet pile wall.
- Supply and install 300m of 100mm sublaterals to connect perforated pipe to 300mm gas collection pipe. - Supply and install 9 pump drain traps to pump landfill gas from perforated pipe to 300mm gas collection pipe.
- Successfully constructed the new underground infrastructure and sheet pile wall while maintaining the existing active system.
- Supply and install 1,840 square meters of sheet pile wall.
- Build 450m access road complete with gabion wall.
- Build 13,000 square meter pond with Bi- Planar Geocomposite Drainage Layer and 60 mil LLDPE Geomembrane.
- Regrade and restore 13,000 square meters with hydroseed.
